Vailara is a Uruguayan slow fashion brand dedicated to creating women’s clothing in limited quantities. Each piece is thoughtfully designed with intention, prioritizing quality, versatility, and longevity over trends or mass production.

Our collections are produced in small batches, which means that every garment is part of a limited release. We do not operate under a fast fashion model, and we do not manufacture large volumes or continuous stock. This approach allows us to maintain a more conscious and responsible production process, minimizing waste and preserving the integrity of each design.

As a result, availability is often limited, and certain items may not be restocked once sold out.

By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge and accept the nature of our production model. You understand that Vailara operates as a small-scale, independent brand, and that our policies — including those related to availability, exchanges, and returns — are aligned with this approach.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all information provided during checkout — including shipping address, contact details, and payment information — is accurate, complete, and up to date. We are not responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be modified or canceled, as we begin processing it promptly in line with our small-batch operational model.

By completing your purchase, you accept full responsibility for your order and the decisions made during the purchasing process.

4. Pricing & Currency

All prices displayed on this website are listed in the currency indicated on the site and may be shown in multiple currencies for convenience, including U.S. Dollars (USD) for international customers.

Please note that any currency conversions provided are for reference purposes only. The final amount charged may vary depending on the exchange rate applied by your payment provider at the time of the transaction.

Vailara does not control or guarantee exchange rates and is not responsible for any differences between the displayed price and the final amount charged by your bank, credit card provider, or payment platform.

Additional charges may apply depending on your location and payment method, including but not limited to:

  • Currency conversion fees

  • International transaction fees

  • Bank or payment processing fees

 

These charges are determined by your financial institution and are the responsibility of the customer.

We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice. However, any changes will not affect orders that have already been placed and confirmed.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept these conditions regarding pricing and currency.

5. Payments

We offer secure payment options to ensure a safe and reliable checkout experience for all customers.

Payments can be made using the methods available at checkout, which may include platforms such as PayPal and other trusted payment providers.

All transactions are processed through third-party payment gateways that comply with industry security standards. Vailara does not store, access, or retain any sensitive payment information, including credit card details.

  • The transaction is approved by your payment provider

 

All payments are subject to authorization and verification by the payment provider. If a transaction is declined or not authorized, the order will not be processed.

For international transactions, your payment provider may apply additional fees, including currency conversion or international processing charges. These fees are determined by your provider and are the responsibility of the customer.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected.

6. Shipping

We offer worldwide shipping through trusted international carriers such as DHL, FedEx, or equivalent services, depending on destination and availability.

All orders are processed within a reasonable timeframe after purchase. Once your order has been prepared and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information, when available.

Estimated delivery times range between 7 to 15 business days, depending on the destination country and shipping conditions. Please note that these delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination, package weight, and selected shipping method.

International Shipping

For all international orders, the customer is considered the importer of record and is responsible for complying with local laws and regulations.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Customs duties

  • Import taxes (such as VAT or sales tax)

  • Additional fees imposed by local authorities

 

These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and must be paid by the customer upon delivery, if applicable.

Vailara is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes, shipping carriers, or other external factors. Delivery times may be affected by peak seasons, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.

If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to unpaid duties or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer, we are not responsible for issuing refunds or reshipping the order.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these shipping conditions.

7. No Returns & Final Sale Policy

All sales are final. We do not accept returns, cancellations, or refunds under any circumstances.

This policy is a fundamental part of how Vailara operates as a slow fashion brand. Our pieces are produced in limited quantities, with a focus on intentional design, responsible production, and long-term use. We do not follow a mass-production or high-return model, and we do not support purchasing behaviors based on trial, over-ordering, or impulse buying.

By maintaining a strict no-returns policy, we are able to:

  • Avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste

  • Operate sustainably as a small, independent brand

  • Preserve the value and integrity of each garment

 

For this reason, we require all customers to make informed and deliberate purchasing decisions.

We strongly encourage you to carefully review all product information before placing your order, including:

By completing a purchase, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

  • All items are final sale

  • No returns or refunds will be accepted

  • You are responsible for reviewing product details before ordering

 

This policy applies to all orders, including domestic and international purchases, without exception.

8. Exchanges (Limited Cases)

While all sales are final and we do not offer returns or refunds, we may accept exchanges in limited cases, subject to the conditions outlined below.

Exchange requests must be submitted within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible, the item must be:

  • Unworn and unused

  • In its original condition

  • Unaltered and unwashed

  • Returned with original packaging, where applicable

 

All exchange requests are subject to review and approval by Vailara.

Please note the following conditions:

  • Exchanges are offered for a different size or item of equal value only

  • All shipping costs associated with the exchange are the responsibility of the customer

  • We do not cover return shipping or reshipping costs, unless the exchange is due to a confirmed defect or error on our part

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability, and we do not guarantee stock for replacement items

 

Due to our limited production model, many items may sell out and not be restocked. In such cases, we may offer an alternative item or store credit at our discretion.

We reserve the right to deny any exchange that does not meet the conditions outlined above.

This exchange policy does not override or modify our Final Sale Policy, and is offered as a limited accommodation within our slow fashion model.

9. Defective Items

We take great care in the quality and inspection of every garment before it is shipped. Each piece is reviewed to ensure it meets our standards.

If you believe you have received a defective item, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery at our customer support email, providing:

  • Your order number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photographic evidence of the defect

 

All claims are subject to evaluation by our team. If the defect is confirmed to be a manufacturing fault, we will offer one of the following solutions, at our discretion:

  • A replacement of the same item (subject to availability), or

  • Store credit for the value of the item

 

Please note that due to our limited production model, replacement items may not always be available.

The following cases are not considered defects and will not be eligible for replacement or compensation:

  • Normal variations in color, texture, or finish inherent to the materials

  • Minor irregularities that do not affect the overall use or function of the garment

  • Damage resulting from improper use, handling, or storage

  • Damage caused by incorrect washing or failure to follow care instructions

  • Natural wear and tear over time

  • Alterations or repairs made by the customer or third parties

 

We reserve the right to deny any claim that does not meet these criteria.

This policy is designed to ensure fairness while maintaining the integrity of our products and production process.

10. Intellectual Property

All content available on this website, including but not limited to designs, garments, images, photographs, graphics, logos, text, videos, and overall visual identity, is the exclusive property of Vailara or is used with proper authorization.

This content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights.

The use of this website does not grant you any ownership rights or licenses to use any of the content displayed. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, transmit, display, publish, sell, or exploit any part of this website or its content without prior written consent from Vailara.
